I realize it isn't really necessary...but if it were to be considered...I was just saying it wouldn't make ANY sense below 500hp...even though the gains are debatable at any HP number, so it seems. Flowmaster's 3" systems for V8 cars only produce gains when the motor is making at least 500hp...while the VG30DETT is quite different than a Big Block...I don't see why Z's couldn't benefit from a slightly increased exhaust diameter, given that the VG30DETT is forced induction...but I guess this has something to do with compression, now that I think about it. *shrug*
